Are there endless roots?

guys if i equalize (x3 − 7x + 6 ) to zero like x³ − 7x + 6 =0 i will find it roots, but i came to think that i can equalize (x3 − 7x + 6 ) to another value if i assign x a value, so (x3 − 7x + 6 ) can have endles roots right?
