Motorcycle won't start ?

I have a 2004 ninja 250, it recently had problems where I would start it and then there was a clicking, and buzzing sound so I got a new battery and it started up just fine. So the bike sat for a week or two, then when I started it with choke it died, and when i tried to start it up again the choke wasn't working and the bike sounded like it was trying to start so I'm wondering what could be the issue with it now ? I've had the carbs cleaned, and the lights were replaced and now the battery, my next thought was maybe it's the spark plug ?
