Why should I believe Climate Change Alarmists?

of course the climate changes...always has...long before man got the brilliant idea that it was his fault..all one has to do is look at the many different animals that have become extinct, many before man was barely on the planet. So, if man kind is now the cause of global cooling/warming, who caused the last global warming/cooling cycles that caused many different species to become extinct?
