Extreme inconsolable tantrums in 11 month old, normal?

Is it possible he has a food allergy (such as gluten) and he is losing weight/not eating/having stomach pains because of this? This is definitely something to check with his pediatrician. I think his mom would want to try this. Or, it could be a behavior issue. Either way, his doctor is the best person to ask.
