First off, eat a balance diet full of everything (protien, fats, carbs). Nutrition is the number one thing that will spike your metabolism and kickstart your body into fat burning mode. Starving yourself is not the key the key to burning fat is proper nutrition and workout regimine, CARDIO is another important factor (treadmill, elliptical, running, bike, exercise bike..etc).
