Should men need burn their briefs to protest feminist bigotry?
"Young boys are educationally disadvantaged compared with girls" How? By doing more poorly in a system designed for educating boys? "while paternal rights of access to children following a break-up are routinely flouted with impunity" I'm not sure of British law (though I doubt these statements, as the sole source is a well known biased website), but US law does not work this way at all. It is virtually impossible to deny even a convicted violent felon visitation. Men get full or equal custody in almost half of disputed custody cases, which is a disproportionate amount, considering they are far less likely to have been primary caretakers of children beforehand. "Sheila’s wheels " Directs advertising to women, but sells to men as well as the same prices (something easily found out by an American in forty seconds with a google search). " women-only gyms " Exist for the purpose of preventing harassment that is so common in gyms by men against women. There are plenty of gyms where women are de facto unwelcome, and many more where they are made to feel unwelcome because of constant sexual harassment. Show me hetero men expected to put up with that, then we will talk. "What Emmeline Pankhurst used to call 'the double standards of sex morals’ " Double standards regarding sex still exist, ask every woman called a slut, in other words, every woman. "have come full circle." If you mean that they have ended up where they started, you are mostly right. "As I said, perhaps now is the time to burn our briefs" Go ahead, we don't care. But this act isn't comparable to burning bras, because men are not publicly harassed, kicked out of schools, or fired for not wearing briefs.
